The Buzzard Brothers: Flagstaff, Arizona

I perform
with The Buzzard Brothers blues band at
numerous concert halls, fairs, school and
charity functions, and other venues for and in The City of Flagstaff. The
Buzzard Brothers released a CD entitled
"Nest Egg" in 1997 produced by Blue
Condor Records. We have recorded a demo as well, but it just doesn't do
the Band justice. Thus, we have plans to
get very serious about recording because we have such a wealth of music
to share. I have also been an Artist in
Residence for elementary school students,
teaching blues and folk music as well as
instructing in the art of songwriting. Forgive the horn-blowing, but I
was also featured in a 3-year national ad
campaign for Taylor Guitars with the
testimonial, "My fingers Were
Stunned," used when innocently requesting a
Taylor Guitar Catalog. By the way, 2008 has been
thee year for The Buzzard Brothers. We're not only
a 4-piece group of raw blues energy now, but we've never
been more busy. On the weekend of July 3-5, 2008 alone,
we played 6 gigs. That's something we're very proud of,
and grateful for, as
we continue to become more and more popular on the local
music scene. All the while, I continue to write more songs
for the band (well over 200, though not all are officially registered
with BMI: Blue Condor Music/BMI). |
